Recently Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari announced that "India made three world records this month (i.e. March 2021) with the construction of a 2.5-km four-lane concrete road and 25-km one-lane bitumen Solapur-Bijapur road within 24 hours."
This is a very important milestone in the development of India as world power. The roads help to increase transportation speed and reduce cost. Along with allowing people to setup businesses and residences away from crowded cities.
Shri Gadkari ji is doing a wonderful job and everyone seems to like him due to his no nonsense work style. We hope to see small Indian cities to lead in innovation and increase their participation in economic activities, with large road network in future.
